Well it’s official. My flight is booked. I have signed on to join a friend of on an amazing climbing experience in Mexico at the end of April.

We will be flying down for a 5 day mountaineering trip that promises to be one for the books. Pico de Orizaba. The highest peak in Mexico (3rd highest peak in North America). It’s summit sits at 18491ft/5636m, and will be the biggest mountain project I have been involved with to date.

The opportunity to tag along on this trip came up and I could not resist. You see, my friend is heading down to film part of a documentary that he has been working on ‘Unaffordable Mountains’, and when he mentioned the idea of me joining him for the climb I did not hesitate to jump at it. This will be a fantastic trip and an experience of a lifetime.
