Running Hangover?

So after coming home from our epic 70+km Oregon run, I am in a bit of a running hangover. Tired, but not really, just kind of in the void. Stuck with not a lot of motivation.

Needing to put more fuel in the tank, I have been relying heavily on jumping out with local running groups out in Richmond, something to keep the legs moving, a chance to connect with others, and hopefully spark some new ideas to work towards.

Is a running hangover a thing?

I feel it to be akin to coming back from a big trip and feeling in that lull where you’re not quite back to yourself.

Hopeful to get some new ideas on the board, new things to work towards. In the meantime, it’s maintenance training to run out the remainder of the summer.
